BHS Corrugated supplies consummate corrugated lines in India. The company is headquartered in Deutschland and has its main manufacturing plants in Germany and Shanghai, Prc. Globally, in the corrugated segment, the company has more than 55% market share while in Bharat, it has a straight presence with a sales and service office in Pune, Maharashtra.

Except for the eastern region, BHS has a presence in all other regions of the country. "Nether the electric current NDA government, in that location has been a greater focus on the North-Eastern marketplace. The government is taking many steps to ensure that the market grows in that region and employment opportunities are created. Guwahati is a developing market and has peachy potential. With many packaging giants such as TCPL and Parksons having established their manufacturing plants in Guwahati, information technology has grown to go a promising location for companies like ours," says Bijendra Sharma, managing director of BHS Corrugated India.

In the last three years, BHS has sold shut to ten corrugated lines in Republic of india. Corrugated boxes are 100% recyclable. "Unlike plastic, which is difficult to reuse. It isn't easy to manage the waste matter likewise. The government is also pushing for surroundings-friendly packaging. Basically, packaging that is fit to employ and reuse is set to abound. The per capita consumption of packaging in India is less than a kg while that in other parts of the world is close to x kgs. This shows a promising future for the packaging industry in India.

"It is not easy to sell a two million dollar machinery to a converter in India. For us, at IndiaCorr Expo 2019, we were interacting with our customers and looking to generate leads. Nosotros believe that the Indian market is growing and the potential for consuming these highly-priced machines is increasing. We came to India in 2009 but we installed our first machine in 2014. Then, as I said, information technology is not that easy," explains Sharma. At IndiaCorr, BHS promoted their corrugated lines and some upgrades on splicers and corrugated rolls. BHS now produces splicers and corrugated rolls for non-BHS corrugated lines as well. It believes that the acceptance of European machinery is increasing in India and the slowdown is hardly going to affect the way converters plan their investments.
